Rob’s Six-Pack Picks For the Weekend

FordField

Last week was a GREAT week folks. We went 5-1, and using the hypothetical $25 per bet would put us up $100
dollars last week. This week brings us another 3 college games and 3 NFL games, with Michigan State on a bye this
week I will pick the U of M game and two others, and of course pick the Lions game for Sunday.

NCAA:
Michigan -13 ½ vs. Northwestern: This game is at the Big House which is why we see such a large spread. With that
said I do think Michigan has a good chance of pulling out the close win but I don’t like them to cover the spread. I’ll
take Northwestern this week and the 13 ½ points. Projection is Northwestern to cover losing 31-28 to Michigan.

Nebraska -9 vs. Penn State: I like the underdog again in this one, give me Penn State to cover and pull off a small
victory against Nebraska this week. I like Penn State to win and cover 24-21.

Notre Dame – 20 vs. Boston College: I have yet to see Notre Dame have a dominant performance against someone
enough to like warrant a 20 point spread. I don’t think Boston College is that good, but neither was Pitt and last
week was a 3OT game. I think that the pressure is beginning to get to Notre Dame, and their play is suffering. This
will be closer than the experts think. I like Boston College to lose but cover 35-21.

NFL:
Detroit -2 @ Minnesota: So the lines makers this year cannot figure out this lions team at all. The lions were an
underdog at home against Minnesota earlier this year. I like the Lions to win not because I think that they are an
AMAZING team or they are back to their old form, but they are hungry and need this win to get off the bottom of
the division. The offensive continues to find their groove on the ground and through the air, give me the Lions to
win and cover 35-24.

NY Giants -4 @ Cincinnati: I think that the Giants might be one of the top tier teams in the NFL, and well Cincinnati
is not. No-brianer here for me I like the Giants to win and cover 28-14.

Chicago -1 vs. Houston: This is a tough game and I am really challenging myself by choosing to pick this one.
Chicago’s defensive has been beyond aggressive and looks so good of late, but Houston has some real talent on
both sides of the ball. Playing in Chicago might be a real challenge for Houston and they may struggle early. They
will right the ship at the end and pull out a real close victory, 24-21 in OT.

Six-Pack Pick:
With fall and hunting season in full swing, and the Lions playing a must win game, the choice is an easy one for me.
Grab yourself a six pack of Magic Hat #9 or as I like to call it Magic “Matt” #9 in honor of Matthew Stafford. This
not quite pale ale is delicious and guaranteed to make your weekend. So throw some brats on the grill, tune into
some great games, crack open a Magic Hat #9 and enjoy your weekend folks.

Chuck:
Michigan beats Northwestern: 30-24
Lions beat Vikings: 32-13

Brandon:
Michigan beats Northwestern: 20-7
Lions beat Vikings: 29-21

Emily:
Michigan will win!
Lions will win!
